“It is very important for the journalist to be able to freely reflect the reality he lives within, and not his personal opinion, he can show the reality and the events and all what happens. Freedom of the word and freedom of expression is very essential. But the journalist should give the right opinion and analysis, and all what is useful for the community and to tell the truth as it is.”

“Freedom of press raises the value of the human being, preserves the healthy society; without freedom of press, the people will never live in dignity. When there was no freedom of press, we could not know what is happening in the Arab world, but now we realize the frustration and lack of freedom in that world.

“Freedom of press is a must, but, press should also be committed to certain limits. In our case, (in Palestine) I believe that journalists enjoy freedom and democracy. I studied in the Arab countries, where freedom of press is tied, but here no government or other side intervenes.  I believe the only problem before journalists is the occupation.”

“Whenever there is a free press, there is monitoring, transparency, for all sides whether civil or official. Freedom of press is revealed through freedom of expression, access to information, all information, but for the press it should be objective, if all the mentioned factors are provided, the society will definitely develop.”
